New website – now live

We spent some time this summer updating our website – we are still adding some finishing touches but it’s pretty much there.

We have made sure that the new site is much more smart phone friendly as a lot of our visitors access the site that way.

Crafty Art Workshops for all this Summer!

Throughout August we are taking over Salisbury House and running Crafty Art Workshops.

Mosaic workshops to create new public art in Edmonton

EdmontonArt Start has been granted Enfield Residents Priority Funding to carry out some exciting projects for residents this year.

CELEBRATE EDMONTON will see the creation of public mosaics depicting elements of the original Edmonton coat of arms and associated symbols reflecting the wards of Upper Edmonton, Edmonton Green, Haselbury and Bush Hill Park.

You are invited to join Art Start in workshops to create a commemorative mosaic highlighting the significance of Edmonton as an independent borough before its merger with Southgate and Enfield 50 years ago.

These FREE workshops are open to all local residents (8yrs upwards) and you can attend for part or all of the sessions.

Contact us for workshop dates and locations or check out our Facebook page for regular updates.

Our aim is to establish Church Street as a thriving cultural quarter to preserve its heritage, support regeneration and celebrate creativity and culture.

To get things started we’ve created a survey to gather information from residents, schools, businesses, organisations and artists to help us plan future developments.
